“Anything is possible when you have the right people there to support you.” – Misty Copland.

You are not alone. Through These Doors offers educational support groups throughout Cumberland County. These groups are for anyone who has or is currently experiencing abuse in their relationship.

Our groups provide a safe place to talk, get encouragement, and connect with others who have shared similar experiences. Groups are facilitated by trained domestic violence advocates who listen, offer emotional support, and provide information and referrals to other resources.

We provide a variety of groups. All groups are FREE and CONFIDENTIAL. Child care and transportation assistance are often available. To learn more about the support group, please call our 24-hour helpline at 800-537-6066.

Our helpline is answered by an answering service. An operator will ask for your name and a safe phone number. An advocate will call you back from a blocked or restricted phone number within 15 minutes. If you would feel more comfortable speaking to an advocate in a language other than English, please tell the operator which language you prefer. The advocate will return your call with an interpreter.
