Abuse in Later Life
Abuse in later life, sometimes known as ‘Elder Abuse’ occurs in all communities. It affects people of all ethnic, cultural, racial, economic, and religious backgrounds. TTD collaborates with community partners to enhance safety for all victims.
TTD provides advocacy services to address people’s needs in later life (age 50 or older) who are experiencing or have experienced emotional, psychological, physical, financial, or sexual abuse. The abusive person may be a spouse, former spouse, partner, adult child, extended family member, or caregiver.
