Thank You!

A big thank you to donors and supporters who contributed to our first-ever Facebook fundraising event. We exceeded our campaign goal and heard from many new people wanting to donate money or time to the effort. Thank you!

We are pleased to have remained available by phone throughout the stay-at-home order, having more advocates on call to listen, support, safety plan, and provide resources. Our shelter has remained open as families continue to live there, safe from abuse, and taking all necessary precautions to stay healthy.

Even as we encourage everyone to maintain physical distancing, please remember to reach out to friends, family members, colleagues, and neighbors who may be living with an abusive partner. They could need your help. If they are in Cumberland County, Maine, give them our helpline number at 1-800-537-6066. You can also call us anytime to learn more about how to help.
